Robi Smith founded Blue Lantern Communications in 1997. Her first client was a group of scientists and policy makers in Health Canada's drinking water program (now the Water, Air and Climate Change Bureau). They are still her client today.

Who are you trying to reach? What's your message?

I love helping my clients communicate clearly and effectively with their audiences. I write, edit, organize events and exhibitions, create and carry out communications strategies, and lead workshops to help others become better communicators. If you'd like details about my work history or experience in any of these areas, just ask.

Because I'm eclectic, Blue Lantern Communications is not just one thing, offering one basic service. I may only be one person, but I like to have lots on the go. Strangely, I'm more productive that way and much happier. And my clients are happy too.
