Check out what we did in 2003:

June 21st: Buccanneer Day Parade

The Guild stayed true to its wild salmon roots and swam upstream through the paraders ... and won First Prize to bout!

June 7th: Oak Bay Tea Party Parade

We made beautiful fish on a sticks and paraded around in our Sunday best (blue, green and silver are our colours!)—think white gloves and tea party hats.

May 24th: Esquimalt Lantern Procession

Photos of the installation

The Gilled has created an installation of a "ghost" salmon run: a spirit bear overlooking a school of nine white lantern salmon. The Esquimalt Lantern Procession was the site of the first installation ... keep an eye out around town. You never know where the wild salmon will run...

May 19th: Victoria Day Parade

Press coverage and announcements

The Victoria Day Parade was a smashing success! In addition to swimming up Douglas Street with our glorious fish on sticks, we won second place in the "Walking Parade" category - not bad for a bunch of wild salmon!!
